Across the nation, Scholarship America's programs -- including Dollars for Scholars -- have given out $2.5 billion to nearly 2 million students since our founding 50 years ago.

In our community, our chapter has made a big impact on the lives of students as well. Check out this site in the near future for details -- and to learn how you can help!

How Are Scholarships Awarded?

Recipients are awarded scholarships after their application is reviewed by the local chapter’s committee. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and need. The goal is to avoid duplication of awards and to distribute the financial benefits among as many students as possible.

How Are Funds Provided?

The program has grown with the generous contributions of clubs, individuals and businesses and industry in our area. The Goshen Chapter fortunately can offer many more scholarships as our community supports and encourages the youth in Goshen high school who are trying to make a difference. We always welcome memorials, trusts and grants. As a way of thanking contributors and including them in this rewarding process, the chapter provides the opportunity for a contributor to present the scholarship to the recipient at the annual GHS awards night.
